I am a single mother of three ages 15, 10, and 7. Two girls and one boy. My cousin came to live with me when he was 12 and stayed until he left for college. I've about seen it all and heard it all! Also I am a native of Onslow County. I graduated from Southwest High School, 1992 and Coastal Carolina Community College, 2008. Right now, I'm presently employed with Gospel Temple Childcare Center here in my town of Richlands, N.C. For years I was a vonulteer with Head Start and substitute teacher for Onslow County schools. I substituted for middle school because I felt like I had a connection with the kids and they respected what I had to say to them. I do believe it takes a school, family, and communtiy partnership to raise our children to be best they can be.
